What is Octoberfeast
The Greater River North Business Association is hosting its 11th annual OctoberFeast event; an elevated tasting experience showcasing downtown Chicago's finest restaurants. Participating venues and restaurants provide their specialty food items in tasting portions, with cocktails, for event participants to enjoy. The event takes place on Tuesday, October 1st at The City Hall: A stylish, politics-themed eatery & bar.
This year, OctoberFeast caters to business professionals seeking new restaurants that are known for excellent customer service, high-quality cuisine and the capability to host private events.
You'll be able to sample the finest dishes from 20 restaurants while enjoying an open bar, live entertainment, networking, bidding in our silent auction and more!
Showcase Your Restaurant
The Greater River North Business Association is now accepting restaurant applications for the 2019 OctoberFeast. You will have the chance to show off your signature dishes to hundreds of people, all in one place!
The attendees of this event will be corporate professionals who entertain clients as part of their business. This is a captive audience of hundreds of potential customers who wine and dine their clients and utilize event space! Also on the guest list... event planners and food bloggers.
This year’s event will take place at The City Hall, from 5:30-9:30pm. Unfortunately we have to cap the participants at 20 restaurants. If your restaurant is chosen, you will need to showcase a tasting of your restaurant's finest cuisine and have the capability of hosting meeting and events. This event will also include a silent auction, live entertainment and chef demonstrations.
Please understand that due to limited space and high demand for this event, we are only able to accept a select number of restaurants. We recommend displaying your most exciting dish in order to place highest in consideration. Silent Auction Donation Form
Our silent auction portion of the event will be to raise money for River North Clean Streets (www.rncleanstreats.org) which we founded with the River North Residents Association. RNCS consists of a well-trained crew, who pick up garbage and recyclable materials, leaving communities cleaner and safer while providing life-changing support, training and temporary employment for hardworking interns eager to move towards self-sufficiency, so they may reenter the workforce.
